Operator Theory and Functional Analysis

Our recent work at operator theory on directed trees and multishifts has made me interested in the study of expansive m-isometric operators. This also includes the exploration of celebrated von-Neumann inequality in the class of operator-valued multishifts.

An intrigue relationship between the classical von-Neumann inequality and Grothendieck inequality (a fundamental theorem of tensor products) has always been an element of surprise and study for the mathematical community. Our near future work also focuses on this relationship in more generality. My research area also includes the study of mutlivariable Caratheodory-Fejer interpolation problem from several complex variables.

Current Research Interests

1. von-Neumann's inequality in multivariables

2. Study of the constants C(n) for n bigger than 2

3. Caratheodory-Fejer interpolation problem in polydisc

4. Generalized Grothendieck inequality

5. Study on Dirichlet-type spaces
